Lahaina ❤️
On August 8th, the deadliest wildfire within the last century of the US, tore through my town, destroying everything in its path.
We had no cell reception, no power, no way to contact loved ones, no way to know what was coming.
We lost family members, friends, members of our community. We lost our business. Our family lost their business. We didn’t realize how close many close calls our friends and loved ones faced trying to escape the devastation.
We snuck in on August 11th, trying to find our family members and friends. Trying to get supplies to friends stuck in the burn zone. We saw things that will stick with us for the rest of our lives.
It has been extremely hard getting back to work.
There is no normal anymore. And I will try to be as positive and we will get through this together.
