Sailor Jerry Book 2 - Page 40

Just one of those day. Those days where things seem to go wrong at every turn. In this case my toddler snuck into my room while we're getting ready to leave and shmeared paint all over one page of butterflies pre black/shading. Needless to say mommy had some more work to do when we got home.

Tracing:

I did enjoy this page. I like butterflies but I like moths more. (specifically mothman).

Black/Shading:

Wouldn't ya know today is full of weird blunders, one of which is me forgetting to take pictures of all other butterflies in their black/shading phase...*face palm*

Color:

We all go through weird metamorphoses all the time. I like to think of one the end of a bad day as going into a cocoon and coming out in a better day.
